Banen er åben for både begyndere og professionelle. Vandskiparken tilbyder muligheden for at dyrke kabelvandski på en stor sø, der får sit vand fra de kølige afløb fra Kathu vandfald. Den rektangulære bane giver vandskiløberen spændende udfordringer med den tysk byggede trækbane. I forlængelse af almindelige vandski er der mulighed for at prøve Knee Boards, Splashing Discs og Single Boards. Hastigheden på trækket varierer mellem 28-58 km/t. Alle udøvere er under konstant overvågning af erfarne instruktører.

What is cable wakeboarding? Cable wakeboarding is simply wakeboarding while being pulled not by a boat, but by an overhead cableski system. It’s definitely the coolest addition to the distinguished list of extreme sports throughout the world, because it combines the best of the extreme nature of wakeboarding without the need for (or expense of) a boat. Cable is an enormously valuable and important element of the entire sport of wakeboarding How many cableways are there? There are over 140 cable parks all over the world, and more are on the drawing board, especially since the advent of wakeboarding. Of these, over 100 are in Europe and Africa (60 of which are in Germany alone), as well as many others in Asia and Australia. However, the fever in North and South America is rising fast. So how does it work? How do you ride without a boat? Suspended in the air by a series of towers (or masts) surrounding a small lake, an overhead cable rotates in a (usually) counterclockwise motion around the lake. Along the cable are a number of carriers from which ski ropes will attach to and pull a rider or skier around the lake Cable skiing is simply water-skiing where the skier is not pulled by a boat but by an overhead cable which is suspended 8-12 meters above water surface by specifically designed pylons. The cables runs counter clockwise around the lake. It is powered by a variable speed electric motor which can maintain speed between 20 - 65 km/h. Most cable-parks circuits are 650 - 800 meters and can accommodate many users per hour, circulating 8-12 riders at one time. It'll take a skier about 2 mins to complete one round with the cables running at the usual speed of 28 km/h All skiers have to begin from the starting dock..Beginners can ski off an astroturf onto the lake, making it easy transition onto the water. There is no limitations as to how many rounds a skier can go. Cable skiing is safe, clean, quiet, and environmentally friendly, there is no risk of oil or fuel contamination The major advantage of cable skiing is that there is no expensive motorboat needed, this makes it very affordable for the individual skier. Wakeboarding is one of the world's fastest growing extreme watersports. Not just a sport, its becoming a lifestyle..... The numbers of wakeboarders across the world has increased vastly over the past few years. Today, nowhere is it more accessible than doing wakeboarding on the cable. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider, the cable has something to offer. For beginners, our instructors will use the "step by step" approach when you start to learn wakeboard. Start on a kneeboard, then progress to skis, from there you can proceed to wakeboarding . Complimented by the calm waters, its the perfect place to master the basic techniques of wakeboarding. In no time, you'll be doing tricks on the wakeboard. Kickers and sliders are available for the more advance riders WakeMK is the newest UK Cable Wakeboard Centre, owned and run by wakeboarders for wakeboarders. We provide coaching for everyone from absolute beginner to Ski 'n' Skurf Cable Ski Park - details Cable skiing or wakeboarding as its name implies, is waterskiing or wakeboarding where the participants are not pulled by a boat but by an overhead cable, very similar to a snow ski lift, but erected around the banks of a lake The speed that the cable travels is the same as the boat speed in tournament waterskiing and wakeboarding, with a top speed of 58 kph The cables runs counter clockwise around the lake and the participants are, very simply, hooked up to the cable on the move. It is powered by a variable speed electric motor that can maintain speed between 20 - 58 kph The obvious advantage to cableskiing is the dramatic reduction in the cost for the individual skier Participants are not restricted to wakeboarding and waterskiing - people of all ages and abilities can slalom, trick ski, kneeboard, or even surf without the wave. Up to 8 skiers or wakeboarders can participate at the same time on one cableway, with an average of 80-100 participants
