How to get to Koh Samui?

Sleeper 2nd. class

Arrival to Koh Samui. Choose from three different routes. Wild Kingdom Tours will help you make reservations to the requisite transportation. Fly direct to Koh Samui from Bangkok or Phuket. Night train in 1^st. or 2^nd. class sleeper from Bangkok to Surat Thani, -roughly 10 hours transport. From the train station you have to continue with the local bus to Donsak pier where the ferry leaves to Koh Samui. Time of transportation from Bangkok about 14 hours. Consider to spend a day in Surat Thani or some days with Jungle Adventure in Khao Sok National Park. Book through us. V.I.P. Bus from Bangkok to Chumphon 500 km to the South. Departure from Bangkok 06:00 and 21:00. Travel time to Chumphon -roughly 7 hours. If the journey starts in Chumphon, the below described itinerary will take place in reverse order Koh Tao, Koh Phangan & Koh Samui. Consider to spend a couple of days at Chumphon Cabana Resort. Day 1 to 4 – Koh Samui (B) (L day 3)

Check in at the incredibly charming and good located Varinda Garden Resort in the town of Lamai on the popular Eastern coast of the island. The resort is in walking distance from the beach. From the pool area you get a stunning view over the town and ocean. The islands in The Gulf of Thailand are fortuned by two high seasons a year, where you find nice and rather stabile weather conditions. Period January – April & July - September. The day after your arrival are set to relax and get familiar with the surroundings. Visit the beach or take time to explore the island. Day 3. Full day tour by speedboat to Koh Angthong National Marine Park. The Islands consists of 42 uninhabited islands, spread out like a string of pearls West of Samui and Koh Phangan. Snorkelling, enjoy the panoramic views and paddle a canoe around the cliffs. A tasty picnic lunch will be served under the shadows of the palm trees on the island of Wuatalub.

Day 4 to 8 – Koh Phangan (B) except Dreamland Rst

Utopia Resort Sea View Jacuzzi Bungalow

We check out from Varinda Garden Resort. Transfer to Boput where the ferry to Koh Phangan departs from. Only 30 minutes late we will be greeted by staff from Utopia Resort. Utopia Sea View Jacuzzi Bungalow will be ours for the next two nights. Located with magnificent ocean views to fishing boats and Koh Tao in the distant - all this will be your eye catcher direct from your room, balcony or Jacuzzi. The staff will take you to the beach and bring you back when you would like. On day six we say good bye to Utopia Resort and we will be driven to Dreamland Resort or Havana Beach Resort. Bought with direct access to the all year round, perfect beach at Haad Thong Nai Pan Yai. Havana Beach Resort has swimming pool. Day 7 we take a boat tour along the coast. We will visit the more remote beaches at Haad Sadet, Haad Kuwad and will do snorkeling on the unspoiled coral reef at Haad Mae Haad. ”If you got a dive certificate, Scuba Diving can replace snorkeling”. Day 8 /Check out. Pick up for the ferry pier at Thong Sala.

Day 8 to 10 – Koh Tao (B) (L day 8)

Day 8 / 08:30 The combined ferry and tour boat leaves from Koh Phangan and will arrive at the pier in Koh Tao after 1 hour and 20 minutes journey. The passengers there have used the vessel as a ferry will depart, - while we stay on board. The boat continues as a tour boat and will anchor at Nang Yuan Islands, known for its very good coral reefs. The islands are also considered a natural phenomenon. All three islands that Nang Yuan consist of are connected to each other by narrow isthmus of coral sand. A trail will lead you to the view point where you will get a bird’s eye view of the islands. There will be time to relax and snorkeling from the beach as well. ”As an extension we can ad an overnight stay here”. ”If you got a dive certificate, Scuba Diving can replace snorkeling”. Back on the vessel we take lunch and return to the pier of Kho Tao. Here we get of the boat and a representative from Ko Tao Resort will meet and greet us for transportation to the resort. We will stay 2 nights here. Day 10 / 12:00 check out. The end of the packed program +++++++++++ Contact us Choose way of transportation back to the mainland: Ferry back to Koh Samui and by air to Bangkok. Departures from Koh Tao 09:30 or 15:00 with arrival in Koh Samui 11:30 or 17:00. Transport to Samui Airport can be arranged from the ferry. Ferry from Koh Tao to Chumphon.
