Golf vacation in Phuket 14 days/12 nights

(Shared standard twin room  - minimum 4 pax)

 

Day 1:

Departure from your home country. Good hints for the flight:

 

Avoid tight fitting clothes! Take off your shoes when you are seated! Avoid too much coffee/tea (caffeine does not promote sleep). Bring a sleeping mask and a set of earplugs.

 

Day 2:

Arrival at Bangkok International airport/transfer to domestic terminal.

Departure with Thai Airways (TG) to Phuket International airport (flight time-1 hour).

When leaving the plane in Phuket:

1). You pass immigration (stamps your passport).

2). Collect your luggage.

3). Pass through customs (not too strict).

 

Your tour-leader will be at the exit.

Transfer to your hotel and check in.

After a briefing by the tour-leader the rest of the day at your own disposal.

 

Day 3:                                                                                    breakfast

09:00 am transfer to Loch Palm Golf Club. A wonderful course with fantastic scenery.

After golf, return to the hotel. Rest of the day at your own disposal.

For non- golf players, excursion is arranged at request.

 

Day 4:                                                                                     breakfast

09:00am transfer by minibus. Today we play Phuket Country Club – Old Course.

http://www.phuketcountryclub.com/ . This course is among the 5 best courses in Thailand. 10:00am tee off!

After golf, return to hotel.

For non-golf players, excursion is arranged at request.

 

Day 5:                                                                                      breakfast

All day at your own disposal! Maybe you want to spend a day on the beach? (beware of the powerful sun here!). Sightseeing or fishing tours arranged at your request.

Should you wish to play golf today also, it is of course possible. (let us know the day before).

 

Day 6:                                                                                       breakfast

08:30am departure by minibus for Thai Muang Beach Golfcourse. This beautiful beach course is located 60 km. north of Patong in the province of Phang-Nga (1 hour drive).

10:30am tee off! Returning to Phuket after golf.

Rest of the day at your own disposal.

 

Day 7:                                                                                        breakfast

09:00am transfer to Phukek country Club, which you now know to Perfection! 10:00am tee off! Return to the hotel after golf. Rest of the day at your own disposal.

Day 8:                                                                                          breakfast

07:30am departure for Ao Po bay. Today we are going on an allday tour of the beautiful Phang Nga Bay. It is a Sea Canoe tour where a local guide will paddle the canoe among the many “bounty” islands of Phang Nga Bay (lunch included on the tour).

Returning to your hotel about 17:30pm.

 

Day 9:                                                                                           breakfast

09:00am transfer to Loch Palm Golf Club. 10:00 tee off!

Remainder of the day at your own disposal.

For non-golf players, excursion is arranged at request.

 

Day 10:                                                                                          breakfast

09:00am. Today we play Loch Palm Golf Club again and for the last time on this tour. Of course you know it now like the back of your hand so scores will be low!!

After golf it’s time for relaxation.

 

Day 11:                                                                                           breakfast

All this day is entirely yours!!

 

Day 12:                                                                                           breakfast

After breakfast we have to make a choice. We can choose to play Phuket Country Club – Old Course, which we know well by now, or we can choose to play the difficult 9 hole (par 74) “watercourse” (water on 8 holes). If we choose the “watercourse” it’s played twice. Hopefully not having lost too many balls we return to the hotel.

For non-golf players, excursion is arranged at your request.

 

Day 13:                                                                                            breakfast

Today you can relax on the beach or we can arrange a ½ day excursion at your request.

18:30pm. Departure for Phuket Fantasea Dinner Show.http://www.phuket-fantasea.com/

Perhaps the most beautiful show in Thailand with lots of elephants, tigers and people performing on stage.

Returning to your hotel at 22:30pm.

 

Day 14:                                                                                             breakfast

Check out at 12:00 noon and transfer to Phuket airport. Flight to your home country via Bangkok at about midnight.

 

Day 15:

Arriving in your home country.

Price for non-golf playing participants: 23.000, - THB.

Price valid until 31/10/2004.

 

Price include the following:

1). All nights in shared standard twin room-including breakfast. (Single room supplement…).

2). All green fees, caddy fees on 7 rounds of golf.

3). All transport to and from the golf courses.

4). All entry fees and foods as well as transport to the prearranged excursions, seen in the program.

5). All local taxes.

 

Price does not include the following:

1). Tips for caddies-chauffeurs and other staff.

2). Beverages.

3). Room service or minibar at the hotel.

4). Lunch and dinner except on prearranged excursions.

Phuket Country Club – Old course

This is one of the 5 best golf courses in Thailand. 18 holes – par 72 – 6.483 yards. The course has three distinctive characters. Some places it’s hilly other places it has lush green fairways and last the many water hazards. Besides the challenging course the clubhouse offers a 25m swimming pool-spa and sauna-bar and restaurant-fully equipped gym-poolroom and a conference room.

 

Loch Palm Golf Club

Loch Palm quickly becomes a favourite course for many golfers. 18 holes – par 72 – 6.434 yards. Located at the foot of a jungle-covered mountain range the course is laid around a big lake (Crystal Lake). It’s a hilly course and it blends in with nature in the most beautiful way. With more than 1400 palm trees Loch Palm is beautiful for the eye as well as a challenging course with many hazards and difficult greens.

 

Thai Muang Beach Golf Course

This is the only beach golf course in South Thailand. 18 holes – par 72 – 7.o28 yards. With the sight and sound of the ocean as background it is indeed an experience to play golf here. Especially 17 and 18 holes, which are played right up to the beautiful Andaman Sea. This course will stay in your memory forever.
