Nobody has time enough to see everything on 2-4 weeks in Thailand. Arrival to Bangkok and spend a few nights in the Metropolis before continue to River Kwai. 1 night at a jungle lodge or floating river raft and connect to the night train sleeper class to Surat Thani in the South. Surat Thani is the springboard to Khao Sok National Park, Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Khao Lak and Krabi.
If Northern Thailand is on the “To do list”, save time and transport by connecting directly after arrival to Bangkok International Airport to Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai. We recommend 3-7 nights in the North to get a useful impression of this region.
From the northern Thai capital of Chiang Mai, there are bus, train and flights to Bangkok. If you like to get on quickly to Phuket in the South - direct flights are available.
