Who, what, where at Wild Kingdom Tours Co., Ltd.

Wild Kingdom Tours was established in 1999, after the founders in the years up to the company registration, had been employees in other travel agencies.

The original intention was to offer travellers in Thailand, nature and adventure tours. The tropical and subtropical climate in this belt of the Far East is ideal for arrangements like this. The culture, climate and mentality are also very different, form what the most of us origins from.

We have not let nature down and this still have top priority. It is us humans that should adapt to the unspoilt areas of nature – and not the other way around.

In the mean time experience has shown us, the need for more niches in the travel business. Because of this fact we therefore also now arrange sports trips, conference arrangements and special arrangements for the still increasing number of travel clubs, that emerge and who often have a travel theme. Furthermore we now also arrange round trips to the neighbouring countries like Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam as well as we sell airline tickets.

Furthermore our tour activities at Wild Kingdom Tours are approved by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, to organise and sell travel arrangements. At the same time we are obligated to the authorities, not to offer products from travel agents that are not approved by them.

Our premium goal is not to create a travel empire, but to advise our sponsors to the best of our ability.

In a market with many offers of various quality, one often loses grasp of the offers and we know better than anyone else, that there is no place for mistakes, in planning a long expected and awaited travel to the Far East.

Therefore, with a clear sense of right and wrong, we would never offer trips, round trips and other travel arrangements, that we ourselves do not support a 100%.

Jomwan Vongsitichai (Tukta): Born 1965.

Tukta is the Daily office manager.

Tukta keeps control of the daily routines and organises the paperwork with authorities, tour agents and hotels etc.

She has been on several field trips and leads strangers to places, where tourists normally never visit.

She is a master in the art of Thai cuisine so that ones taste buds scream for more.

Adam Knudsen: Born 1975 / Tour leader and guide.

Born in Thailand, but came to Denmark as a child, where he grew up. He speaks fluent Danish, Swedish, English and Thai.

Besides his jobs as a tour leader he is also a diving instructor. Adam has a very positive personality and is a problem solver – almost before they arise.

Due to his original background he has a serious interest and is committed to the culture and traditions of Thailand.

Soren Wettendorff: Born 1967

A big piece of his hart belongs in Thailand, where he has been since 1992.

Further more Soren has been studying Thai language at the University of Copenhagen and are now also a part time teacher for foreigners living in Thailand

His wife is Thai national and together the have 3 children, how loves to join there daddy on his inspection trips to the rainforest.

Soren has a great deal of experience within the travel business, where he has been in key possessions inside tour companies like S.I. Tours and Marwin Tours in Bangkok.

Since year 2000 Soren have had his base in Phuket, where he as a tour coordinator is the one there develop and improve tour products.

Per Butler: Born 1952 / cofounder and owner of WKT.

Per was born in 1952 in New York. During his youth he often sailed on the seven seas, with his farther, who was a Captain in the merchant fleet.

After graduating with a commercial degree he travelled as a Report photographer in Spain, Peru, USA and Iceland.

He has owned and managed an independent transport and logistics company.

Per graduated as a tour guide in 1985 with destinations in the former Soviet Union, which at that time was undergoing an exciting breaking up period.

Countless trekking and field trips has taken Per out to the furthest reaches of the world, where contact to the local population was always established according to the current rules and regulations.
